The chairman of Labour party in ward three Mr Princewill and his Secretary in Asari Toru Local government area of Rovers State has distanced themselves from an earlier press release allegedly signed by some disgruntled party members.
In a statement signed by the ward three (3) chairman Owunari C. Princewill and secretary SA Amachree passed a vote of confidence on Hilda Dokubo as CTC chairman Labour party Rivers State.
The statement which reads partly said Hilda Dokubo has led the party to an enviable position which may have attracted the prying eyes of political buccaneers who wants to hijack the structure of the Labour party in the state to execute their selfish interest, hence the attempt to undermine her person.
The statement claimed that the so called person who had earlier suspended her are not known to labour party ward 3 Asari Toru LGA and call on the public to disregard the purported claims of suspension as no such thing was done

We hereby write, having voluntarily indicated our concurrence to the subject matter, to pass an overwhelming vote of confidence on the Leadership of Dr. Hilda Dokubo, The Chairman Labour Party Caretaker Committee, Rivers State
This resolution was reached at the end of the 4th executive meeting of the Ward 3 Asari Toru LGA labour Party Caretaker Committee, ably led by Comr. Owunari Princewill held on the 19′ of July, 2024 at the ward Labour Party office, Abbi Compound, Buguma, Asari Toru LGA.
We have carefully x-rayed the happenings
in the Party at the State, LGA and ward levels, and are satisfied with the direction and state of affairs of the Party. We are fully aware that Dr. Hilda Dokubo has protected the party from the prying eyes of political buccaneers who want to hijack the structure of the party in the state for their selfish interest, hence the attempt to undermine herperson.
We succinctly state that theso-called persons are phantom elements and are not known to us in Labour party ward 3, Asari Toru LGA and we call on the public to
disregard the purported claim of suspension as no such thing was done. They said.
