Job Title: Facility Asset Dispatch Auditor
Location: Port-Harcourt

Job Summary

We are looking for a Facility Asset Dispatch Auditor, who will be responsible for monitoring, verifying, and reconciling all company asset movements to ensure they are accurately documented, properly handled, and dispatched according to operational and safety procedures. You will act as a key role that the lifecycle of each asset, from mobilization to demobilization, is traceable, auditable, and aligned with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Vet and approve cargo manifests to confirm accuracy, completeness, and compliance with operational guidelines prior to dispatch.
• Inspect and verify all inbound and outbound assets to ensure proper tagging, condition, and quantity.
• Maintain a physical and digital record of dispatched, received, mobilized, and demobilized assets.
• Ensure proper documentation accompanies every asset movement, including transfer notes, manifests, and inspection reports.
• Conduct monthly audits of all inbound and outbound asset movements, ensuring no gaps or discrepancies in records.
• Reconcile asset records between base and rig sites, including equipment mobilized and demobilized during operations.
• Identify, document, and report any missing, damaged, or unaccounted-for assets, and recommend corrective actions.
• Carry out surprise spot-checks to verify asset accuracy in real time.
• Prepare and present monthly gap analysis charts highlighting variances in asset records, trends, and recurring discrepancies.
• Provide detailed audit reports to management, including root cause analysis and preventive recommendations.
• Track asset utilization and prepare reports that support cost control and operational planning.
• Ensure all asset handling procedures comply with company policies, HSE requirements, and industry best practices.
• Work closely with logistics, warehouse, and operations teams to enhance asset management processes.
• Support the digitalization of asset tracking systems, ensuring accurate and real-time asset visibility.
• Coordinate with base operations, rig site teams, and supply chain departments to ensure seamless asset movement.
• Liaise with finance and procurement to reconcile asset acquisition and utilization records.
• Support investigations into asset discrepancies or losses.

Requirements

• HND/B.Sc. in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum of Upper Credit (HND) or Second Class Upper Division (B.Sc) and above.
• Prior experience in asset management, logistics, inventory auditing, or operations control within oil & gas, energy, or related industries preferred.
• Familiarity with offshore/onshore mobilization and demobilization processes is an advantage.
