Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementation of safety manual/guidelines at designated site.
- To develop policies, plans & procedures for minimizing the risk
- Training of employees on safe work practices, Fire Fighting, emergency response plan First Aid.
- Supervise Fire Drill at site.
- Perform monthly inspection at site and prepare monthly reports.
- Audit of permits for Hot work, Confined Space, working at Height etc.
- Utilize all tools, equipment, and accessories in such a manner so as to maximize useful operating life.
- Maintaining High standard of Housekeeping at site.
- Educate employees for Near Miss Reporting.
- To conduct monthly safety committee meetings at site for reviewing of hazards identified
- To prepare Safety manual, emergency response plan, spill prevention plan & firefighting plan of Plant.
- Observe work in progress, ensures that proper safety equipment is worn, and procedures are followed.
- Implementation of Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) at site.
- Make recommendation for correction and follow up to ensure that violations have been corrected.
- Review of Incident / Accident & makes recommendation for prevention of similar future accidents.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of similar experience preferably in a power plant.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- English Fluency is a must.
