1.) Budget Reporting Analyst at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

Job Summary:

To streamline financial data, analyze budgetary information, and provide comprehensive reports that support effective decision-making within the organization.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for consolidating budgets, generating insightful reports, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with timely and accurate budgeting, reporting & consolidation of Group management /financial accounts.
  • Conduct analysis of key expenses such as marketing, supply chain, and cost of production; monitor monthly results against budget highlighting variances.
  • Particiin the financial assessment of investment proposals.
  • Establish the profitability of products based on SKUs and sales channels.
  • Maintain a variety of key performance indicators (such as working capital, assets, and financial instruments) with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports for management, including building business cases, scenarios, and simulations.
  • Preparation of Balance Score Cards, Per Ton analysis, leakages reports, cash capex reports as part of monthly deck.

Requirements:

  • BSC /HND in accounting or related discipline.
  • Professional membership i.e. ACA, ACCA.
  • At least 3 years cognate experience in a similar role.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Have good critical thinking ability and excellent attention to details.
  • Possess good knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Have a good knowledge of budgeting software and excellent report writing skills.

2.) Assistant Manager – Trade Development

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and developing FMN’s business relationships and performance of the dealers in ensuring objectives of the company are achieved. Manage the retail redistribution team of assigned areas ensuring all teams deliver against their monthly KPIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company’s business in all Modern Trade (MT) outlets within the territory and ensure monthly sales volume targets are achieved in each store.
  • Oversee and supervise all in-store merchandisers to achieve planogram execution and winning visibility.
  • Build and manage business relationship with MT outlets that will drive business growth. Manage and influence orders, follow up and ensure timely replenishment of stocks.
  • Ensure new products are listed in the stores and excellently execute all initiatives and activation in store.

Requirements

  • BSC /HND in related field
  • At least 2 years experience in FMCG sales with a minimum of 1 year managing Modern Trade outlets.
  • Familiar with the above region
  • with a minimum of one year managing Modern Trade outlets in a similar role.
  • Have excellent listening ability and good communication skills.
  • Have a natural ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Be great at prospecting new dealers.
  • Be persuasive and possess negotiation skills
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills.

3.) Regional Sales Capability Manager

Job Summary

The Ideal Candidate will be Responsible for the implementation of the Sales capability development plan across both Consumer and Foodservice business units in an allocated Sales region

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the execution of both on-the-job and classroom training interventions as defined in the Sales capability plan within the allocated Sales region
  • Deployment of the identified performance metrics for each role in the Sales team (including distributor sales staff) and continuous evaluation of the regional organisation against these criteria
  • Evaluate and test competencies of the regional Sales force to identify skill gaps
  • Implement the agreed Train the Trainer activities in the region
  • Work with the National Sales Capability Manager to drive the transfer of Sales best practice from and into the allocated Sales region
  • Undertake the on-boarding of all new Sales hires in the region

Requirements:

  • BSC /HND in Arts and Social sciences.
  • Minimum requirement: 7 years’ Sales experience gained in a major FMCG blue chip organisation. Strong field sales experience a must. A passion and aptitude for training and people development must be clearly demonstrated
  • Added Advantage: Experience of some training and development delivery in a Sales organisation

4.) National Route to Consumer Manager

Job Summary

Develop and execute route-to-market strategies at the national level, reporting directing to the Head of Sales. Closely collaborating with the sales, sales operations, consumer and customer marketing teams as well as our trade partners. Ultimately, this role contributes to the achievement of FMN’s commercial business objectives for B2C.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement distributor development and route-to-market strategies in order to achieve commercial objectives and sales goals nationally.
  • Manage and lead the implementation of the agreed Route-to-Consumer (RTC) initiatives at regional level as defined by sales leadership.
  • Develop and maintain a dashboard for each National RTC initiative across regions and territories.
  • Establish an implementation plan for each agreed initiative and secure alignment from regional sales leadership.
  • Ensure that all retail redistribution operations are in line with the agreed SOP, taking corrective action where this is not the case.
  • Review and report on the competitive RTC landscape on a regular basis in order to ensure that FMN stays ahead of the curve across relevant channels and categories.

Requirements:

  • BSC /HND in Art and social science related field
  • At least 4 years’ experience in sales management.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be persuasive, possess analytical and problem-solving abilities.

5.) IT Support Officer –

Job Summary:

You will be responsible Responsible for supporting network databases and systems, updating system hardware and software and troubleshooting for system errors.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor & support network databases and systems, updating system hardware and software and troubleshooting for system errors.
  • Timely resolution of IT incidents and minimize end-user and prevention of IT services downtime.
  • Manage the configuration and installation of approved software & hardware on all company-supplied computers.
  • Proactively manage the running of telephone network services.
  • Specify and ensure the purchase of all GTD computer equipment.
  • Serve as IT liaison with internal departments & external vendors to understand their needs and ensure escalated internet & connectivity issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Track and maintain computer equipment inventories.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve computer hardware and software issues.
  • Ensure compliance with QMS and FSMS requirements in assigned work.

Requirements:

  • 1st degree (BSC/HND) in Computer Science or related course.
  • IT Information Library (ITIL) & Microsoft certification.
  • Security & network certification are added advantage.
  • 3 years experience in similar capacity.
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology.
  • Have excellent customer service, strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.

6.) Packaging Line Technician

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for the safe operation of various packaging equipment on the cubeline which includes start up, operation, and troubleshooting of issues to comply with production goals, company safety guidelines, and good manufacturing practices. Conducts minor machine fixes and repairs and work together with maintenance team during major repairs and overhauls.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage the operation of cube forming, drying and packing machines for cube sugar products.
  • Control and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain desired line speed.
  • Test operation of machines periodically.
  • Ensure package and product quality at operating station.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment runs efficiently.
  • Remove damaged products or supplies, as needed.
  • Ensure accurate production and packaging changeovers as per packaging schedule.
  • Keep daily records of down time and machine operations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic to promote a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean work area and clean equipment before and after shift.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

  • OND in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Have at least 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience as a packaging equipment operator.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have team spirit and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Be self motivated and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

7.) Packaging Floor Supervisor

Job Summary:

You will be responsible to ensure that all sugar products are packaged and loaded in accordance with the company’s quality policy in order to consistently satisfy and retain our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Co- ordinate all product packaging activities and processes to achieve high productivity and complete engagement of employees in the shift.
  • Ensure effective supervision of packing operations to achieve agreed target.
  • Oversee the operation of packaging lines to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Coordinate with production planning to schedule packaging runs, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Monitor the activities and performances of staff and report any erring employee for appropriate disciplinary action.
  • Ensure all malfunctioning equipment is reported for prompt repairs.
  • Ensure proper planning and issuance of packaging materials to avoid wastage or misuse.
  • Train and supervise packaging staff, providing guidance on proper packaging techniques and use of machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with QMS /FSMS requirements in the assigned work process.
  • Ensure proper tracking and reporting of line performance data.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

  • OND in Engineering, Sciences, Business Management or Social Sciences.
  • Have at least 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience on various packaging materials, machinery, and software.

8.) IT Risk and Information Security Officer

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the cyber-risk management program which includes IT policies, controls, risk assessment and vulnerability management aimed reducing cyber & emerging risks across the entire FMN Group and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and update FMN’s IT Risk and Information security policies, standards, and baselines for effective controls across the organization.
  • Conduct risk assessment on existing and new IT/OT system to ascertain risk exposures.
  • Review data on cybersecurity incidents tools (EDR, SIEM, NAC) for any suspicious activities.
  • To liaise with relevant team to remediate identified gaps from risk assessment on information system.
  • Identification and remediation of threats and vulnerabilities on FMN’s Information system.
  • Track, measure, and report performance of key risk indicators for IT Risk Management.
  • Ensure FMN Group and its subsidiaries are compliant with ISO 27001 standard and controls.

Requirements:

  • BSC /HND in Sciences or Engineering
  • At least one of the Professional Certification – Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), ISO 27001, CC (Certificate in Cybersecurity) and other relevant training certificate in threat and vulnerability management.
  • 3 years cognate experience spanning two or more in information security.
  • Experience in conducting vulnerability assessment scan, code reviews and penetration test.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITILv4
  • Knowledge of windows operating systems, Networking protocols and emerging cybersecurity technologies (SOC, SIEM, EDR, threat hunting and modelling)

9.) Electrician

Job Summary

Carry out mechanical repair and service of all machines in the mills and headhouse to ensure continuous operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Maintenance: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment’s in the plant.
  • Safety Compliance: Must be familiar with international regulations and classification society rules related to electrical systems. Conduct safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents or electrical failures.
  • Emergency Response: Assist in identifying and resolving electrical issues, coordinate with other departments, and take appropriate actions to restore electrical supply or mitigate risks.
  • Spare Parts Inventory: Managing the inventory of electrical spare parts is an important aspect of the electrical officer’s job.
  • Identify and procure necessary spare parts, maintain stock levels, and ensure availability of critical components.
