The chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd has ordered the restriction of motorcycle operation across the Local Government Area from 7:00pm to 7:00am.
The restriction order followed the resurgence of criminal activities and intelligence gathering on the modus operandi of the criminal elements in their recent attacks in the area.
Traditional rulers, community development committees and youth leaders across Emohua Local Government Area are enjoined to enforce the restriction in their respective communities.
Consequently, security agencies and the local government vigilante services (EMOVIS) have been directed to arrest and prosecute anyone found riding motorcycle within, into and out of Emohua Local Government Area after 7:00pm and before 7:00am, effective from Thursday 29th September 2022.
