The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria has announced the release of results for the 2024 Professional Examination as Approved by the Coordinating Honourable Minister of Health and Social Welfare.
According to the statement which reads partly said;
“results indicated that fourteen thousand, seven hundred and Filly-three 14,753) candidates were successful representing 80% with the breakdown as follows
A) Post Basic Midwifery: Two thousand, one hundred and thirty-seven (2,137) candidates were successful, representing 92% pass
b) Basic Midwifery: One thousand, eight hundred and thirty-five (1,835) candidates were successful, representing 72% pass.
C) Basic Midwifery (Refreshers): 16 candidates were successful, representing 100% pass
d) Community Midwifery: Seven hundred and sixty-five (765) candidates wme successful, representing 89% pass
Heads of the training institutions are hereby directed to check the result of their institution(s) on-line as from Monday 16 September, 2024
Successful candidates are hereby directed to visit the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Portal (http://portal.nmcn.gov.ng) to apply on-line for registration and licensing with effect from 16 September, 2024
Please note that on-line registration Formalities Including payment of registration the should be completed within ninety (90) days. Furthermore, any application for registration initiated and not completed within thirty (30) days will be automatically deleted by the portal
Late registration attracts a penalty fee of Sixteen thousand, two hundred and fifty Naira (16,250.00) only, per applicant after ninety (90) days. Additionally, a penalty fee of six thousand, five hundred and sixty-two Naira (N6,562.00) only will be charged per year in default of first licensing
The next Professional Examination in Midwifery is to be held from Tuesday 11 Friday 14 March, 2025.
Heads of nursing training institutions are hereby requested to send statistics of eligible candidates for March, 2025 Professional Examination in Midwifery to exam@nmcn.gov.ng on or before 31 December, 2024 using Examination Application Checklist (EAC).
Kindly note that Examination Application Checklist received after this date will be rejected out-rightly.
Please acknowledge receipt of the result and contact the Registrar/CE) immediately for rectification of any error.
Council will not entertain any complaint after thirty (30) days of release of result.
