Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following Vacant Positions Below;

1.) Lead Rep Geophysical

Responsibilities:

  • Generating geophysical surface and seismic attribute for the construction of 3D reservoir models for field development planning and reserves audits. Appraise operator’s geophysical interpretations, depth conversions and seismic attribute work.
  • Identifying and evaluating opportunities for new production and well locations and for production optimization activities.
  • Working collaboratively within integrated team including Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, Reservoir Engineering, Drilling and Commercial to deliver viable drilling opportunities to support reservoir development.
  • Working with our exploration group to develop and push forward untested opportunities within the Location.
  • Reporting and updating drilling activity of non-operated wells.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Geophysics or Geology;
  • Minimum of Fifteen (15) years of National and International experience in the Seismic industry;
  • Experienced at managing a team and working in a multidisciplinary team;
  • Experience as a Party Chief is an added advantage;
  • Experienced in QA/QC of 3D seismic operations including field processing/ seismic acquisition contractor’s acquisition (recording) and processing systems;
  • Good knowledge of the use of field planning software, e.g. Omni or Mesa;
  • Good knowledge of the use of processing software, e.g. Vista;
  • Basic knowledge of QHSE-MS;
  • The geophysical personnel must be COMEG registered.

2.) Geomatic Rep (Topographical/Navigation)

Responsibilities

  • Make use of GIS to analyse and interpret site features, produce detailed information (subsequently analysed by planners, builders, and cartographers)
  • Use a range of equipment to produce surveys, including GPS and conventional methods, analyse information thoroughly before it’s handed over to other professionals.
  • Measure the ground, including aspects such as small and large-scale distances, angles and elevations, gather data on the earth’s physical and man-made features through surveys.
  • Process data, undertake digital mapping, think creatively to resolve practical planning and development problems.
  • Interpret data using maps, charts and plans utilise data from a range of sources, such as aerial photography, satellite surveys and laser beam measuring systems.
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) and other IT software to interpret data and present information, keep up to date with new and emerging technology.

Requirements

  • Should be a Registered Surveyor;
  • Minimum of Ten (10) years’ experience in managing all aspects of 3D seismic acquisition programs including planning, operations, technical in a variety of terrains and environments;
  • Experienced in GPS Survey Control Network design and acquisition planning;
  • Experienced at QC of GPS data processing and adjustment.
  • Experienced at managing a team and working in multidisciplinary team;
  • Demonstrable experience with seismic acquisition including QA/QC processes and procedures with a minimum of five (5) comparable seismic projects;
  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards for 3D seismic operations

3.) Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Rep

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Planning, execution and delivery of technical and managerial Health, Safety and Environmental aspects of Assets and Projects, including overall coordination of the HSE program and the drive to reach our goal of zero HSE Incidents.
  • Provide high quality HSE support to the Asset/Project Manager and staff, as well as advise on Technical Safety and Integrity challenges and the operationalization of HSE Cases.
  • Stimulate continuous HSE risk identification, assessment, reduction for Asset activities and develop innovative ways to reduce process safety incidents.
  • Co-ordinate and drive compliance with standards and procedures, local and International HSE regulations within Asset/Project.
  • Co-ordinate and act as custodian of HSE Management System for Asset/Project.
  • Participate in key project reviews, HAZIDs and HAZOPS, develop, test and maintain emergency response procedure and plans.
  • Organise HSE meetings and incident investigation and Review.
  • Coordinate identification of HSE competency gaps and provide trainings for staff and contractors personnel.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of industrial Safety Engineering or any engineering field;
  • Holder of NEBOSH International General Certificate;
  • Holder of OSHA Certification;
  • Knowledge of IAGC, E&P, OGP, ISO, EGASPIN & Commission’s Standards;
  • Minimum of Fifteen (15) years post graduate experience of which three (3) years international experience, two (2) years minimum in Project Site QC supervision & Contract HSE aspect management;
  • Good knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office package;
  • Good knowledge of HSE Matrix Training Needs and deliverables;
  • Swimming proficiency;
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) an added advantage.

4.) Security Rep

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with department managers to determine security needs, planning, and implementing comprehensive security strategies.
  • Controlling the security operations budget, monitoring expenses, and documenting processes.
  • Supervising, recruiting, and training security personnel.
  • Gathering security intelligence and implementing preventative measures.
  • Developing work schedules, allocating tasks, and monitoring personnel performance.
  • Coordinating responses to emergencies and alarms, as well as compiling incident reports.
  • Preparing surveillance equipment maintenance schedules and facilitating repairs in a timely manner.
  • Keeping abreast of new technologies and advancements in security services.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and security industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Social Science, Humanities or Engineering field;
  • BASIC Security Training course for Managers;
  • Knowledge of the Rules of Engagement;
  • Knowledge of the Basic Code of conduct of GSAs;
  • Experience in Management and Supervisory role/Interpersonal relationship with GSAs;
  • Knowledge of Community Liaison for intelligence gathering;
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience, of which a minimum of two (2) years must have been spent in a supervisory role with a security outfit or a legitimately discharged GSA official;
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Project Security C Supervision;
  • Any other Project Security Management Training course will be an added advantage.

5.) Community Affairs Rep

Responsibilities:

  • implement community outreach programs and initiatives to enhance the organization’s reputation and community engagement.
  • Identify key stakeholders, such as community leaders, organizations, and influencers, and build relationships with them to foster positive partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create and execute community-related content and campaigns.
  • Organize and participate in community events, fundraisers, and volunteer activities to promote the organization’s mission and values.
  • Serve as a point of contact for community members, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on local community trends, needs, and issues that may impact the organization’s reputation or operations.
  • Develop and maintain a database of community contacts, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the organization’s participation in community sponsorships, donations, and partnerships.
  • Prepare reports documenting community relations activities and their impact on the organization.
  • Monitor and analyze community sentiment and feedback through social media and other channels, providing recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in any field;
  • Minimum of ten (10) years post graduate experience;
  • Good knowledge and skills in negotiations;
  • Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Resolution Management;
  • Good knowledge of Damage and Impact Assessment;
  • Good knowledge of Current OPTS crops compensation rates;
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as Community Affairs (CA) QC Rep;
  • Strong Community liaison skills and relationship;
  • Good knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office package.
