Following the announcement by The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) on shortlisting of applicants for computer based screening test, a lot of candidates either have lost or forgotten their NSCDC Application Number, which is needed for checking of the NSCDC Shortlisted Candidates and to access the screening test portal.

This post is strictly for candidates who cannot access the portal because they have lost their NSCDC Acknowledgement Slip, not sure about their application ID or have forgotten their application code or number which was assigned to every applicant during the online application process. What is the NSCDC Application Code?
The NSCDC Application code is a unique 16-digit number that was assigned to every candidate during NSCDC online recruitment registration. Keep in mind that without the application code, you will not have access to the NSCDC portal either for checking of shortlist or writing of computer-based screening test for the recruitment.

Please note that the acknowledgement slip that you printed or downloaded after successful submission of your application in the 2023 NSCDC recruitment, which looks like 04CD2022-36265186 is your application number or code.
How to Retrieve your NSCDC Application Code:
If you are among those applicants who don’t know or have forgotten their NSCDC application ID, can still recover it by following the step below.
Recall that you submitted your application through the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) portal.
After your application submission, you were sent a congratulatory or acknowledge message which is a confirmation of a successful application, right?
Therefore, you can retrieve your NSCDC application code by checking back to your email inbox
The acknowledgement message that was sent to your submitted email address should contain your application code.

Candidates who are finding it difficult to login, should ensure they use this link https://www.cdfipb.careers.
The following are required to Check your Name in the Shortlisted Portal.

- E-mail address,
- Phone, and
- Date of birth.
