TotalEnergies SE is a French multinational integrated energy and petroleum company founded in 1924 and is one of the seven supermajor oil companies.

We are seeking experienced and qualified individuals to fill the positions below;

1.) Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s HSE norms and standards.
  • Ensure full commitment to TotalEnergies Golden Rules and the use of STOP Cards
  • Provide quality maintenance services to territories and network development, GT sites across the company to ensure utmost performance of equipment.
  • Organize and implement maintenance campaigns at cost effective manner.
  • Ensure that equipment is available at the point of need at most cost-effective rates and improve down time.
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of Maintenance Engineers and Facility Maintenance Supervisors.
  • Evaluate and monitor the efficiency of registered contractors / service providers.
  • Organize regular training and workshop for the Engineers and Technicians.
  • Monitor and control maintenance budget and expenditure.
  • Ensure provision of timely and precise reports for management decision.

Requirements

  • HND / BSc. Mechanical / Electrical / Relevant Engineering Degree.
  • 10 years cognate experience

2.) Design & Liaison Officer

Effective communication with the Technical Coordinator, Engineering Manager, Team of Engineers, Contractors, and other members of staff as well as External Consultants.

Responsibilities

  • The job holder provides detailed working drawings for construction of minor and major project having a financial value ranging between =N= 500,000.00 to =N= 300,000,000.00.
  • Ensures that all drawings, changes, final consultant drawing are well documented.
  • The position is responsible for ensuring that drawings are approved by the relevant officers and sent for the necessary Town Planning and DPR approval to construct.
  • The job holder holds discussion with the Engineering Manager, Retail Sales Manager and Project Engineers on modification to be effected on proposed service station drawings and other existing drawings.
  • The job holder designs site/location plans for proposed service station and proposed depots according to company’s standards and prevailing environment conditions to meet the requirement of marketing department.

Requirements

  • BSc. in Engineering, Architecture with good drafting skills in (Civil, Mechanical, and structural steel drawings)
  • At least 3 years’ cognate experience in architectural designs, PI&D and PFDs.
  • Must have a good team spirit with communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a high level of professionalism and sound knowledge of the AutoCAD package

3.) Project Engineer (Civil)

The Project Engineer shall be based in the company’s head office, but will be required to visit any of the company’s sites at various

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance to all HSE rules for Work at height and other risks projects
  • Carry out Joint Safety tours, Safety Green Light and Life Saving Checks for ongoing projects
  • Conduct risk assessment and HSE plan meetings before commencement of any project
  • Carry out visits to new and existing company sites for engineering assessment and Technical report
  • Define work scope recommendation and project proposal
  • Carry out engineering analysis, designs and calculations for projects that have such requirement.

Requirements

  • B. Eng./ B.Sc. Civil Engineering or its equivalent with at least 3 years’ work experience in building/ construction related industry
  • Project Management, Analytical, Engineering Design/Detailing skills are required
  • Registration with professional body is an added advantage
  • Computer literacy (AutoCAD, Microsoft office)

4.) Payment and Cash Executive

The job involves the use of SAP, THEMIS to make payments & ensure matching of paid accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Process all bills from the Territories, Plants and Depots on a weekly basis through the SSC on Themis Electronic payment while ensuring the bills paid are correctly posted in SAP.
  • Process Transporters bills on a weekly basis for payment & ensure every bill processed are posted into SAP before payment is made.
  • Ensure posting of payments made via e-payments/ one-off for Transporters & Territory within 2 days after final release by required signatories.
  • Raise cheques (system generated and handwritten) in line with CBN rules.
  • Value added check on bills for authorization and approvals in line with procedure.
  • Ensure all vouchers paid via cheques are posted into SAP after sending them for Approvals.
  • Preparation of confirmation letters for all cheques raised to the banks.

Requirements

  • BSc in Accounting or related discipline with at least 3 years’ working experience.
  • Efficient use of software packages (Microsoft Office).
  • Good interpersonal skills, effective communication skills with ability to relate well with both internal and external customers.
  • A person of integrity

5.) Legal Adviser East

Interfaces with the company’s internal and external customers including staff, management, directors, external counsel, dealers, partners and other stakeholders. Must be able to work independently, proactively, and under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Advisory/Agreements: Advise on, prepare and review assigned legal, commercial and other transactional contracts entered into by the company.
  • Debt Recovery: In conjunction with the other Legal Advisers, manage the legal risk of the company’s credit portfolio by issuing demand notices, liaising with external solicitors to institute recovery actions in Court, maintaining a debt recovery register and actively participate in Credit Control meetings.
  • Litigation Management: Manage the entire litigation portfolio of the Eastern Region including developing strategies and mechanisms for the avoidance of litigation and where suits are instituted against the company, ensure efficient management of the litigation to minimize the risk of litigation crystallizing against the company.
  • Submit monthly litigation reports. Attend court on behalf of the company, facilitate witnesses and documentation required for prosecution and defence of litigation matters in Court.

Requirements

  • Must be a qualified Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with a minimum of 8 years cognate experience
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of the working and practice of Nigerian Law
  • Must have good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must have very good negotiation skills
  • Must be a good team player
  • Possess good interpersonal skills
  • Rigor, drafting skills, capacity to synthesize and focus on key issues
  • Autonomy in a demanding environment
  • Diplomacy and ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Capacity to report, share, communicate, and manage people and resources.

6.) Personal Assistant to the Executive Director (Secretary General)

The Executive Director (Secretary General)’s office is highly sensitive and characterized by high level of activities.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively managing ED(SG)’s calendar including scheduling and prioritising all meeting requests and correspondence ensuring responses and actions are undertaken and completed in a timely manner
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders on a range of subjects and business areas.
  • Providing executive support with the preparation, organisation and planning of formal meetings or conferences managed by ED(SG)’s office involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collating and preparing papers, correspondence including reports (KPI report) to ensure compliance with organisational requirements.
  • Attend, screen and manage internal/external telephone calls, correspondence and requests.
  • Control of approval/signature with contracts, RTOs, invoices and internal documentation etc. within delegated authority through applicable internal systems and aligned with internal guidelines and processes.

Requirements

  • Possess first degree in any social sciences including Economics and Accounting. Minimum of 2 years’ work experience required.
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices/procedures.
  • Demonstrates outstanding organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Ensures a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Skilled communicator with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with staff at all levels
  • Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Teams and Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as a part of a team liaising with internal and external stakeholders globally and remotely.
  • Demonstrates high level of discretion, diplomacy and judgement to dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
